Finish The Last 5%
Have you ever printed out a fancy presentation and then noticed one small typo on page two?
What do you do?
Do you go back to the office, open up the file, fix the mistake, send it back to printer to be bound again?
That could take hours just to change one little mistake that almost no one will notice.
But what if someone does notice it?
What if that someone is the decision maker on a huge deal for your business?
What if their parents were English teachers and typos are deal breakers?
What if everything rests on the shoulders of this decision?
There is only one way to control the outcome, and deflate the absurd pressure caused by that chain of thought.
You must finish the last 5%. Every time.
The first 95% is easy. Everyone does it, but almost no one finishes the last 5 because it takes too much time, no one will notice, it doesn’t matter, etc.
The truth is those excuses are almost always valid, except for the one time they aren’t, and that time might make your career.
So take control, set yourself apart, fix the typo, or whatever small task stands in the way of truly completing your task.
There are less than twenty working days left in the year. How will you finish the last 5%?
Happy Monday, finish strong.
Love,
Log Dog

Man I actually needed that today
